Paperspace by DigitalOcean

Paperspace is a GPU-focused cloud computing platform founded in 2014 and acquired by DigitalOcean in 2023. The platform combines two major product lines: Gradient, a managed machine learning and Jupyter notebook environment for AI and ML development, and Core, a traditional GPU/CPU virtual machine infrastructure platform with SSH and Docker access.

Paperspace targets ML engineers, AI researchers, developers, students, and data scientists who want frictionless GPU access for experimentation, fine-tuning, training, rendering, and cloud desktop workloads without complex infrastructure management. Gradient provides browser-based notebooks preconfigured with CUDA, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and major ML frameworks alongside persistent environments, Git integration, collaborative projects, and a free GPU notebook tier.
