Frequently asked questions
Is WP Engine Intended For WordPress Hosting?
Yes. WP Engine's hosting and migration guidance is focused on WordPress. Check compatibility with your themes, plugins, and deployment process instead of treating the platform as a general server for unrelated applications.
Should I Plan A Separate Email Service With WP Engine?
Yes, for robust email needs. WP Engine's FAQ says default email functionality is limited and recommends a third-party email host for monitoring and scalability. Distinguish business mailboxes and campaign sending from routine website notifications.
